The only sex post I’ll ever write

As a grown-up, I’m glad to finally know a few things about myself. For instance, competence is dead sexy. I don’t care what you do — carpentry or cascading style sheets — if you do it well, you’re guaranteed to be sexier than the fumbler next door. So here it is: clevergirl’s guide to what’s hot and what’s not.

Hot:
1. competence
2. feeling sexy (say it: “I feel sexy!” Now toss your hair.)
3. eye contact
4. clothes that fit

Not:
1. bravado
2. poorly located hair
3. too-large shirts and too-small pants
4. boredom

Oh, and if you work in a big office, don’t try to pull out that stubborn nose hair while sitting at your desk. That’s just gross.
